Single Desk Sitting

Who it is for

Someone who wants to feel the studio order once before deciding on a longer practice, or who has a single name that has become hard to read.

What you leave with

You leave with one marked sheet and a clear sense of which marks belong at the start of a review and which ones can wait.

Included

• Ninety minutes with an instructor
• One instrument, printed and marked in the studio order
• A short note of the levels you chose to keep

Outside the fee

• A written audit of older books
• Ongoing remarks after you leave
• Trade instructions or a second instrument in the same hour

How the sitting runs

1. Before you sit

   Tell us the instrument and bring a weekly sheet plus the last ten daily sheets. We start on time; the desk is held only for you.

2. The hour and a half

   You mark. The instructor slows you down when a line appears before the weekly high is on the page. Conversation stays on the order of the review.

3. What you take home

   The marked sheets are yours. We do not keep a copy. If you want the longer studio, this sitting can be your intake, and the fee is credited if you enrol within three weeks.

Before you come

Arrive ten minutes early so the sheets can be laid out. Bring a pencil. Coffee is in the room; there is no need to carry a laptop.

Limits

One reschedule is offered when notice arrives before 18:00 the previous day. A missed sitting without notice keeps the fee, because the desk was held.
