The name is the keystone in an arch: the single stone that stops the rest from shifting. Here that stone is a written order for opening a chart. Without it, each evening invents a new sequence and the book fills with lines nobody will defend.
In 2015 Minseo Park, then a chart clerk at a regional securities office in Jeolla, began Thursday sittings for colleagues who wanted the marking habit taught plainly. They met above a paper shop in Buk-gu. The card was still being rewritten every few months.
In 2017 the eight steps were fixed. A noisy week was no longer a reason to change the order. In 2019 the practice was registered as Lucid Keystone Co., Ltd. and moved to the present room on Sunhwan-ro. The pre-open circle was added in 2022 for people who cannot stay after the close. The studio still caps itself at eight long-course students so the margin notes stay specific.
People at the desk
Minseo Park
Studio principal. She still keeps the master weekly book in pencil and reads every level-book audit. Her years at a regional brokerage desk were spent marking daily sheets for other people; the studio exists so students mark their own.
Jaehyun Cho
He leads the 08:10 circle. Before returning to Gwangju in 2018 he spent mornings on a futures desk in Seoul. He will stop a conversation that jumps ahead of the step currently on the card.
How we sit with a student
We do not manage accounts, and we do not write the trade for you. The relationship is a desk and a book. You bring the names you already follow. We insist on an order, a limit of three instruments, and remarks that stay in the margin.
Gwangju is the right size for that. The cash session is the same one the rest of the country watches, and the room is close enough that a pre-open chair is a bus ride, not a theory. Students from elsewhere in Jeolla sometimes stay for a Thursday evening; we do not travel to home offices.
